Hitit has strengthened its presence in the Middle East by partnering with an airline from Iraq. Under the agreement, Basra Airlines will utilize Hitit's Crane suite for its passenger operations.  

26 February 2026, İstanbul – Hitit, a global provider of software solutions for the airline industry and travel ecosystem, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Basra Airlines, Iraq’s new full-service carrier. As part of the agreement, Basra Airlines will implement Hitit’s passenger service system, Crane PAX, along with the internet booking engine, Crane IBE.
